What are the responsibilities and job description for the Myrtle Beach - Track / Ride Attendant position at The Track and Fat Daddy's Companies?
If you are a hardworking, safety conscious and reliable individual who enjoys working outdoors and, in the sunlight, then join our team as a Track /Ride Attendant at The Track Family Fun Park! We are seeking diligent and attentive individuals who will be responsible for the safe operations of attractions throughout the park. You will follow all delegated tasks assigned and maintain all aspects of the The Track’s "Friendly, Clean, and Safe Service" mantra while on the job. As an active team member of the Rides Department, you will also be in direct and continuous interaction with Management and Team Leads to maintain a clean and safe environment at all times.
As a Track/Ride Attendant you will:
- Welcome and greet all guests entering attraction
- Ensure that all aspects of the ride cycle comply with normal safety procedures
- Maintain a safe work environment for guests and team members
- Assist guests on and off the attraction
- Follow all ride specific safety procedures including but not limited to, checking height, checking restraints, ensuring bags and loose items are not allowed on the ride, etc.
- Work in a fast paced, high-volume, and exciting environment
- Positively interact will all guests and provide exceptional guest service
- Be knowledgeable regarding park policies to answer questions from guests
- Continually monitoring and maintaining the cleanliness within the assigned area
- Follow The Track’s policies and procedures at all times
- Perform other duties as assigned by Team Leads and Management
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be 16 years of age or older
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must be willing to work weekends, holidays, days/evenings, and weekdays when needed for operation
- Must be willing to work outdoors and in all weather, conditions including direct sunlight and hot/cold weather
- Must be willing to work indoors with artificial and natural lighting if needed
- Must be willing and able to clean using chemicals after training and with proper personal protective equipment
- Must be able to stand, kneel, and squat for extended periods
- Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English
- Must be professional, energetic, and have a positive attitude at all times
- Must be able and willing to meet all The Track’s grooming standards daily
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. with or without assistance
Working Conditions: Work is performed outdoors in all weather conditions with and without shade structures, depending on the location. Track/Ride Attendants will be standing, walking, stooping, bending, and reaching throughout their shift.
