Job Summary :

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our accounting team at Five Star Parks & Attractions, a fast-growing company of family entertainment centers. This position requires an individual with a strong accounting background, preferably with public accounting experience, to support the financial operations of the business. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting tasks, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, and providing insights to support key business decisions.

Key Responsibilities :

• Prepare and maintain financial statements, ensuring compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, including preparing journal entries and reconciling accounts.
• With assistance from the revenue team, record and reconcile daily revenue and manager revenue allocations
• Perform bank and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Prepare and maintain financial schedules, reports, and records for internal stakeholders and management.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial tracking and reporting.
• Provide support to the Controller group and Director of Accounting in various accounting-related tasks and ad-hoc projects.
