The Tradesmen Group LLC (TTG) is seeking an exceptionally organized and self-directed Administrative Assistant who is dependable and flexible to join our team working out of our headquarters in Plain City OH. Candidate must be capable of multi-tasking to assist with on-going administrative tasks of the company. Candidate must have a minimum of two years successfully working in a corporate setting.
Proud to be a 100% Employee-Owned Company (ESOP), TTG specializes in the rehabilitation and restoration of significant structures throughout the eastern half of the United States, with offices/yards serving Washington DC, Nashville/Chattanooga TN and Savannah GA. As a full-service building rehabilitation/restoration company, TTG self-performs multiple trades including all aspects of historic masonry restoration, roofing, architectural metals, carpentry, painting & more.
Compensation package commensurate with experience & qualifications. Current position is part time, possibility for full time work now or in the near future, for the right candidate.
ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform administrative support tasks for on-going business and operations of the company, including but not limited to, purchasing, logistics, HR paperwork and frequent interaction with employees, management, vendors and others
- Attend and participate in meetings, taking notes and assisting with administrative matters
- Conduct research as directed
- Complete reports and related administrative tasks as directed
- Field and make calls and coordinate administrative tasks
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum two years of experience as an administrative assistant or comparable past experience
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with flexibility, excellent time-management skills and able to prioritize frequently changing tasks
- Ability to faithfully and fully conduct all described duties & responsibilities in representation of the company
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Willingness to undergo a background check & drug screen
- Strong Microsoft Office experience; Proficient in using personal computer and software to develop spreadsheets, data bases and word processing documents; willingness to take assessment skill tests which may include, but not limited to Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Office365, Dropbox and more
- Strong planning and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently as required
- Construction familiarity is beneficial but not required
