As a full-service building rehabilitation/restoration company, TTG self-performs multiple trades including all aspects of historic masonry restoration, roofing, architectural metal work, carpentry, painting & more.
TTG is seeking an exceptionally organized and experienced Project Manager or Senior Project Manager who is dependable, flexible, self-directed and highly motivated to excel on high profile projects. The ideal candidate will have a minimum 5 years successfully working on commercial building renovation/restoration projects while prioritizing the ever-changing management tasks involving coordination between accounting staff, vendors, subcontractors, crew, and clients. Experience in historic restoration and federal contracting is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities:
Manage small to large projects to ensure compliance with contract, budget, schedule, forecasting and job costing thru all phases of projects from bidding, pre-construction, construction and close-out phases
Assist with HR recruitment, security clearance, and onboarding of all TTG employment candidates
Attend and participate in project meetings as requested, including required travel throughout the US
Review and take-off project plans and specs to create accurate job estimates, change orders, and price proposals related to existing and potential projects; source subcontractors/vendors for quotes and prepare subcontract and vendor agreements; handle other construction administration initiatives as needed and requested
Generate reports, handle multiple projects, and prepare and monitor invoices and expense reports as well as correspondence, drafts, forms, and other necessary project documents
Compile and submit project submittals per project specifications and drawings as well as RFI and Change Order Requests and other administration for projects with minimal supervisory direction; Track all submittals and RFIs in project management software
In addition to assigned projects, provide support to upper management staff in larger-scale projects during solicitation, pre-construction, construction, and close-out phases
Requirements:
4-year degree in construction or related field preferred (or commensurate experience); Construction management coursework and / or directly related business management experience. Construction experience and/or an internship within the construction industry is a plus. Familiarity with reading plans and knowledge of construction terms, plans and spec is required.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to draft proposals and contracts
Willingness to undergo a background check & drug screen
Strong Microsoft Office experience; Proficient in using personal computer and software to develop complex spreadsheets, data bases and word processing documents; Willingness to take assessment skill tests which may include, but not limited to Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Office365, Dropbox, FTP, Adobe Acrobat Pro and Blue Beam
Candidate must have strong planning, analytical skills and demonstrated leadership in the work history
