Position Overview
The Student Engagement and Compliance Coordinator will play a vital role in enhancing student enrollment, strengthening community outreach, and ensuring compliance with Texas Workforce Commission (TWC) standards. This position will involve consistent engagement with potential students, participation in outreach events, and meticulous record management to support the center’s mission and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Student Engagement and Enrollment
- Drive weekly student enrollment to reach ten new students per week by the end of the 90-day performance period.
- Set up and manage 20–50 appointments weekly with prospective students.
- Serve as the secondary contact for student inquiries, tours, and enrollment assistance.
- Outreach and Event Coordination
- To promote the center’s programs, schedule and attend job fairs and local community events (two per week).
- Develop partnerships and maintain relationships with community organizations, targeting at least five new partnerships within the first 90 days.
- Coordinate all event-related materials, including flyers, promotional items, and table setups.
- Compliance and Record Management
- Ensure student files are complete and compliant with TWC regulations, with regular audits and documentation.
- Manage records for student refunds, withdrawals, and other compliance-related paperwork.
- Conduct weekly compliance checks on new files, aiming for 100% compliance by the end of the third month.
- Outreach Planning and Event Scheduling
- Create a quarterly schedule for outreach events, job fairs, and trade shows.
- Coordinate with the Harker Heights Chamber of Commerce and other local venues to explore additional recruitment events.
Qualifications
- Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is required; an associate degree or higher is preferred.
- Experience:
- Minimum 1-2 years in student services, customer service, or compliance roles, ideally within an educational or vocational training environment.
- Experience with event planning and outreach preferred.
Skills:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities for managing records and appointments.
- Proficient in MS Office and data management software; familiarity with compliance protocols is a plus.
Performance Metrics (First 90 Days)
- Student Enrollment: Target of 10 enrollments per week by Month 3.
- Weekly Appointments: 20-50 scheduled each week.
- Outreach: Minimum of 2 monthly job fairs and two weekly local events.
- Compliance: 100% student file compliance by month 3, with weekly audits.

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
