Position Overview: We are seeking an enthusiastic and creative Social Media Manager to join our team. This entry-level position is ideal for someone passionate about storytelling, content creation, and social media strategy. The Social Media Manager will play a key role in sharing the impact of our nonprofit through compelling success stories, testimonials, and engaging content. This role is perfect for a detail-oriented individual eager to optimize posts, grow our social media presence, and connect with our audience.

• Develop, film, and edit compelling success stories and testimonials from clients, volunteers, and stakeholders.
• Create and schedule engaging content across social media platforms, including posts, reels, stories, and videos.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure content aligns with organizational goals and messaging.
• Organize and manage a social media content calendar to ensure consistent and timely posts.
• Analyze social media metrics to track performance and identify opportunities for increased engagement.
• Stay updated on social media trends, tools, and best practices to enhance our online presence.
• Respond to comments and messages, fostering meaningful interactions with our online community.
• Travel to various locations as needed to capture content and conduct interviews with clients, volunteers, and stakeholders.

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Strong passion for storytelling and experience in video filming and editing.
• Basic knowledge of social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok) and content optimization.
• Familiarity with social media scheduling tools and analytics platforms.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Creative mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team setting.

• Experience with graphic design tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar.
• Understanding of nonprofit communications and storytelling strategies.
• Knowledge of SEO and social media advertising strategies.
