Staff Accountant
We are seeking a detail-oriented staff Accountant to join our team. This role handles payroll processing, general ledger and bank reconciliations, intercompany transactions, and financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality while collaborating across departments.
Key Responsibilities:
Payroll Accountant Duties
● Ledger Entries: Record and reconcile payroll entries (earnings, deductions, benefits).
● Payroll Processing: Enter and maintain payroll data for timely, accurate payments.
● Data Management: Collaborate with HR to update employee records.
● Reporting: Generate payroll reports for management review.
● Wages & Insurance Reconciliation: Regularly reconcile wages and insurance
accruals.
● Account Reconciliation: Ensure balanced payroll wages, liabilities, and withholdings
records.
● Journal Entries: Post intercompany transaction entries for balanced statements.
● Intercompany & Bank Reconciliation: Perform monthly intercompany and bank
reconciliations.
● Audit Assistance: Support financial audits with organized documentation.
● Project & Monthly Close Support: This position assists the Accounting Manager in
projects and performs monthly G/L reconciliations, accruals, and allocations.
● Analysis: Conduct weekly Cash-Flow analysis

● Technical Skills: Proficiency in payroll software, accounting systems, ledger entries,
and tax reporting.
● Analytical Skills: Skilled in data interpretation, reconciliations, and troubleshooting
discrepancies.
● Communication & Organizational Skills: Strong communicator with attention to detail
and up-to-date record management.
● Team Collaboration: Works effectively with HR and finance teams for smooth payroll
and accounting operations
● Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
