POSITION SUMMARY

The individual must demonstrate strong leadership and expertise to guide the Sales Operations Department, which provides essential support to a variety of partners, from preferred to non-preferred accounts. This role will foster a supportive environment where staff are empowered to resolve customer issues and ensure high satisfaction, allowing the sales team to focus on account growth and retention.

The individual will support the Sales Operations team and act as backup for the Senior Sales Operations Manager. Responsibilities include handling escalations, supporting key sales initiatives, and assisting with areas such as Accounts, Groups, Non-Trade sales, event support, and executive needs.

Requirements : KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Budget Coordination : Supervise tracking of goodwill, FAM budgets, departmental spending, DSM expenditures, and partner invoice processes.
  • FAM Trip Oversight : Manage execution of FAM trips, including quoting, tracking sales, and optimizing ROI.
  • Incentive Programs : Oversee reconciliation and fulfillment processes for travel agent incentives.
  • Sales Hub Management : Ensure all documents and information on the Sales Hub are updated for the US and Canada.
  • Agent Onboarding : Execute and continuously improve the new-to-TTC agent journey and incentive programs, providing feedback to marketing.
  • Leadership Support : Assist senior sales leaders with conference events, partner leadership calls, and competitive pricing analysis.
  • Knowledge Development : Stay informed on travel trends and destinations to enhance department offerings and maintain product knowledge.
  • Systems Expertise : Maintain proficiency in company systems (e.g., Tropics, Salesforce, Litmos) and policies.
  • Project Execution : Develop and execute project plans, coordinating resources to meet objectives within constraints such as time and budget.
  • Collaboration : Work closely with Field Sales Directors, Sales Managers, and Executive staff to enhance sales efficiency.
  • Feedback & Improvement : Foster open communication, providing ideas and feedback to senior management.
  • Additional Duties : Perform other responsibilities as assigned by the Senior Sales Operations Manager.

  • EXPERIENCE

  • 5 years’ experience in managing projects and working with senior management within TTC
  • TECHNICAL SKILLS

  • Proficient in Tropics
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to utilize web tools and in-house technical resources, adapt to new technology, learn new programs quickly, and use computers and technology to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Ability to use Excel spreadsheets to store and manipulate account data.
  • Prior use of Salesforce or other CRM is a bonus.

  • Up to 25% travel required (domestic / international)
