About the Role
The AVP, Learning Partner will play a critical role in leading the development and implementation of learning strategies to support business goals across lines of business, programs, and/or functions. This individual will provide strategic direction to business partners, subject matter experts, and learning teams to understand business goals and influence learning solutions that support short- and long-term business objectives.
Main Responsibilities
- Provides broad leadership to learning product leaders and teams to enable complex decisions impacting multiple functions and lines of business
- Conducts learning needs analysis to determine need, scope, and required resources and proposes learning tools, resources, and methodologies to deliver optimal solutions based on business needs
- Explores new technologies, provides feedback, and implements best practices
- Manages consistent learning processes, procedures, and standards with the ability to coach and develop team members
Requirements
- Ten years of experience in a respective business operation or other learning and development environment
- Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing strategies and curriculums
- Thorough knowledge of learning technologies, support systems, and methodologies with the ability to make recommendations and lead implementation of those technologies
- Advanced leadership skills with the ability to manage change, develop employees, and align resources to accomplish key objectives
