Compensation Overview
The annual base salary range provided for this position is a nationwide market range and represents a broad range of salaries for this role across the country. The actual salary for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment. As part of our comprehensive compensation and benefits program, employees are also eligible for performance-based cash incentive awards.

What Is the Opportunity?
Senior Quality Engineers work across multiple teams in partnership with the engineering community and engineering leads to identify broad opportunities for improvement in software quality. They leverage an expert understanding of current quality practices, trends, tooling, frameworks, and methodologies to evolve and improve quality across a larger group of teams. They work in partnership with engineer leads to determine, plan, and implement improvements, providing coaching to all levels of engineers and leadership in support of change. What Will You Do?
- Lead the definition of the Testing Strategy for Business Insurance's Product & Policy Modernization efforts
- Manage the development and execution of automated and manual testing
- Support both Legacy and Strategic application testing
- Develop working knowledge of the entire application stack including tests at all levels. (Unit, Integration, and End-to-end).
- Partner with Business peers to understand workflow and business needs to ensure they are delivered with high quality
- Collaborate effectively with our Business QA organization in collecting and building realistic business test scenarios
- Lead investigation and resolution efforts for critical, high impact problems, defects, and incidents.
- Seek opportunities where technology can be utilized to improve the business and provide more efficient processes.
- Apply knowledge of current industry trends and techniques to formulate solutions for software engineering problems.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
