Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in both electrical and mechanical maintenance, with the ability to troubleshoot and repair various systems. This role requires a proactive approach to maintaining equipment and facilities, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment.
Responsibilities
- Evaluating, repairing, and maintaining plumbing, carpentry, electrical, drywall and painting, in addition to the HVAC systems in the buildings.
- Complete all paperwork accurately as instructed by the Facilities Manager.
- Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and resolve issues.
- Maintain and control maintenance inventory, ordering parts and supplies as needed.
- Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests.
- Perform preventative maintenance on mechanical systems, HVAC systems, tankless water heaters and electrical systems
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards.
Minimum
- Having demonstrated experience and basic knowledge of how to use standard hand tools and power tools.
- Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients and other employees of the organization.
- 2-years of verifiable on-the-job training in the Maintenance field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Valid driver's license with a good driving record
