What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Infant Room Teacher (part-time afternoon) position at The TreeHouse Growing and Learning Center?
We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our infant room in the afternoons. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with infants and creating a nurturing environment.
This is a great job opportunity for high school or college students- nights or weekends! We work around school schedules too!
Responsibilities are, but not limited to;
- Care for infants 8 weeks-12 months old.
- Feed infants
-Change infants
-Soothe and comfort infants when they are upset
- Maintain an open line of communication with parents regarding their child's development
- Ensure the environment is clean, safe, and conducive to learning
- Record infant's feedings, diaper changes, naps, and activities on the Ipad.
- Sanitize classroom furniture and toys at the end of each night.
- Work under the guidance and supervision of the lead infant teachers
Skills
- Knowledge of first aid procedures
- Ability to engage and interact with infants effectively
- Familiarity with infant care & toddler care
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
