Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in childcare and a passion for education, particularly in working with children between the ages of 8 weeks to 5 years.
This role is ideal for teachers who like to float between various classrooms and are adaptable. This is a great position for college students! We work around college class schedules.
Responsibilities
- Helping out in various classrooms when teachers are absent
- Implment lesson plans
- Provide care and supervision for infants through preschool setting.
- Soothe and nurture children when they become emotional.
- Assist with changing diapers and children's potty needs.
- Feed infants bottles, baby food and table food.
- Plate meals and sit with children while they eat.
- Supervise and engage with children during outside time.
- Help maintain a clean and organized classroom space conducive to learning.
- Facilitate small group activities that promote engagement
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children
Skills
- Experience in childcare or early childhood education is essential.
- Understanding of childcare practices.
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, staff, and families.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with students and parents.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children.
