Job Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Bartender to join our dynamic team. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting beverages, engaging with patrons, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere in our establishment.
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes.
- Take drink orders from customers and provide recommendations based on their preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
- Monitor customer consumption of alcohol to ensure responsible service.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using a cash register or POS system, including Aloha POS.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food and drinks.
- Adhere to food safety regulations and maintain compliance with health standards.
- Engage with customers to create a friendly and inviting atmosphere.
Skills
- Proficiency in bartending techniques and knowledge of drink recipes.
- Experience with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is preferred.
- Strong understanding of food safety practices within the food industry.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and making change.
- Previous experience in fine dining, nightclub, or restaurant settings is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well under pressure.
- A friendly demeanor with the ability to engage customers effectively.
