TABC Certification Required
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers
- Interact with customers, take orders, and provide recommendations
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area
- Check identification of customers to verify age requirements for alcohol consumption
- Monitor customer behavior and ensure responsible alcohol service
- Handle cash transactions and operate the POS system accurately
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate food orders
- Assist with catering events as needed
Skills:
- Previous experience in the food service or restaurant industry preferred
- Knowledge of different types of alcoholic beverages, brewing techniques, and drink recipes
- Familiarity with POS systems for order processing and payment handling
- Strong customer service skills and ability to provide a positive dining experience
- Basic math skills for calculating bills, handling cash, and making change
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
