Job Title: Snap Tech Analyst

Client: State of Rhode Island, Department of Human Services (DHS)
Location: Providence, RI 100% onsite from Day 1
Duration: 2-year contract Extensions Possible
Work Week: 40 Hours
YOU MUST HAVE SNAP EXPERIENCE TO BE CONSIDERED!
DHS Required Skills:
8-10 years of experience with:
- Designing eligibility related software application suite
- Problem identification and integration of technical skills to resolve issues.
- Ability to translate and communicate highly technical concepts to both technical personnel and non-IT business users- 8-10 years of experience required.
- Experience working with SNAP Program as a Technical Business Analyst.
- Flexibility/adaptability and ability to develop relationships/ partnerships with customers by responding to needs by exhibiting a sense of urgency.
- Ability to independently identify and develop solutions/test plans procedures and job aids to support new business processes.
- Experience in business process analysis (Use Cases and/or process flows) and mapping (Gap Analysis) techniques.
- SQL or other query experience a must. Ability to generate adhoc reports using visualization tools. (Tableau Preferred)
- At least 6 years experience working with other social service programs ( TANF, RIW, CCAP, SSP, Child Support, LTSS, Medicaid, other social programs) and associated business processes of a social services organization.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with customers highly desired
- Ability to organize, prioritize and follow complex and detailed technical and financial procedures highly desired.
- Excellent oral and written communications required.
- Bachelor s degree or higher preferred.
