The Truss Company is ready to add a motivated and organized Customer Service/Inside Sales Representative (ISR) to join our team in Sumner WA.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, critical thinker who wants to be part of The Truss Company’s high-energy Inside Sales team. Successful candidates will have an exceptional customer service background, professional attitude, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

If you are meticulously thorough with fine details, able to balance multiple projects and are hyper-conscientiously organized, we would like to hear from you!

  • You are highly organized; able to maintain accurate records and collaborate with colleagues and customers
  • You are proactively aware of customer needs; able to anticipate needs and follow through on customer requests.
  • You possess notable customer service skills; able to express empathy and understanding when communicating with customers.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Perform administrative and office support activities for assigned Outside Sales Rep
  • Assist in gathering necessary information from the customer to obtain credit approval
  • Prepare quotes and present to Sales Rep and/or customer
  • Maintain customer change orders and delivery information using an industry-based software program
  • Assist customers that call in with questions about their order

THE ESSENTIALS:

  • Advanced Microsoft Office Skills (Excel, Word and Outlook)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Strong attention to detail and great follow through ability
  • Ability to self-motivate
