The company manages relationships in personal & business trusts, investment agencies, estates, retirement plans, IRAs, and charitable foundations.
Primary Accountability
The Marketing Specialist supports the company’s marketing and communications efforts to enhance brand visibility, engage the community, and attract new clients. This role involves content creation, event planning, advertising, social media management, and more, working collaboratively with the Business Development Officer and other team members.
Key Responsibilities
- Content Creation & Marketing Strategy
- Assist in the development and implementation of marketing strategies to align with business objectives.
- Create engaging and on-brand content for social media, website, print, and digital platforms using tools like Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, Canva, and Constant Contact.
- Ensure all content is accurate, relevant, and aligned with brand guidelines.
- Event Planning & Community Engagement
- Support the planning and execution of client and community events.
- Coordinate sponsorships, partnerships, and community engagement initiatives.
- Assist in the creation of event collateral, invitations, and follow-up communications.
- Social Media & Website Management
- Manage and update social media platforms with fresh and relevant content.
- Monitor social media analytics and engagement to assess performance.
- Update and maintain the company’s website, ensuring functionality and current content.
- Advertising & Promotion
- Design and coordinate print and digital advertisements using graphic design tools.
- Research industry trends to recommend new marketing channels or opportunities.
- Collaboration & Reporting
- Collaborate with the Business Development Officer and internal teams to align marketing efforts with company goals.
- Monitor and report on campaign performance and effectiveness.
- Other Duties
- Maintain marketing materials inventory (e.g., branded giveaways).
- Perform other marketing-related tasks as assigned.
Education and Professional Experience Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
- 2 years of marketing or related experience, with a focus on content creation, social media, and event planning.
- Experience with Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, Constant Contact, and Canva is preferred.
