Job Description:

At The Trustees of Reservations, we are a premier conservation and preservation organization. Our mission is to protect special places for future generations to enjoy in perpetuity.

As a member of our Farm Crew, you will contribute to organic vegetable production for summer and winter CSAs and wholesale accounts. You will assist with greenhouse and high tunnel production, field operations, vegetable harvest, and wash and pack.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Implementing the crop plan and aspects of production: greenhouse and high tunnel work, field transplanting, weed control, harvest, CSA distribution, and general farm maintenance projects.
  • Learning farm systems and striving for efficiency.
  • Taking on additional responsibility over the season for full-time staff, such as leading harvests or managing a production arena.
  • Assisting with tractor operation and maintenance, if trained.


We offer a variable hour, limited term position reporting directly to the Field Crop Manager. This role requires a passion for working on a production-oriented farm, eagerness to learn, and strong communication skills.

Requirements include being able to lift and carry 50 pounds, working in all types of weather, and accommodating a seasonal work schedule. A valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record are also required.
