Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Boiler Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and experience in industrial maintenance, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of boiler systems. As a Boiler Operator, you will play a critical role in maintaining optimal performance and reliability of our heating systems while adhering to safety regulations and standards. Experience desired, but not required. Pay is based on experience.
This position operates on 12 hour shifts, alternating 3 day and 4 day work weeks.
Day Shift: 7AM - 7PM
Night Shift: 7PM - 7AM (position currently available)

Duties
- Operate and monitor boiler systems to ensure efficient performance and compliance with safety regulations.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on boilers, including checking pressure levels, water quality, and fuel supply.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues related to boilers, utilizing schematics and technical manuals as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of boiler operations, maintenance activities, and any repairs performed.
- Collaborate with the maintenance team to address any HVAC/R system issues that may arise.
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and company policies related to boiler operation.
Qualifications
- Mechanical knowledge with experience in industrial maintenance, particularly in boiler operations. (Desired / Not Required)
- Familiarity with schematics, hydraulics, HVAC/R systems, and general industrial mechanics. (Desired / Not Required)
- Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose issues effectively.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
