What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lead Instructor position at The Tutoring Center, Pearland, TX?
The Tutoring Center seeks a Head Instructor to oversee our classrooms, ensure our teachers are following our proven system, and provide support for our students (K-12) and parents. If you're energetic, fun-loving, and have a passion for education, we invite you to apply. Your work hours are Monday-Thursday 2:30 PM-7:30, Fridays and Saturdays by appointments only. We will start you as an instructor, tutoring K-12th grade students in Reading, Writing, and Math. You will then transition to a lead instructor role, assisting in the day-to-day administrative operations of the center. You will professionally interact with parents, students, and instructors, to help the center achieve its educational and developmental goals for students.
Responsibilities :
- Tutoring K-12 students in reading, writing, and math using our custom academic programs and facilitate our student incentive programs.
- Working effectively under supervision of Center Director
- Learn The Tutoring Center’s proprietary educational programs and methods
- Genuine care for children and a love of learning and positive attitude
- Thrive in a fun, open, energetic atmosphere
- Most importantly, you must be committed to integrity, quality, enthusiasm, exceptional service, and teamwork
Requirements:
- Minimum education: High School diploma or equivalent
- High level of enthusiasm
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong academic background
- Ability to tutor Kindergarten through High School in reading, writing, and math
- Prior tutoring/teaching experience is a plus, but not required
- Spanish bilingual a plus, but not required.
- Ability to tutor K-12 in reading, writing, and math

Tutoring hours:
- Monday-Thursday 2:00pm-8:00pm,
- Friday afternoons: by appointments
- Saturday morning: by appointments
