What are the responsibilities and job description for the Head Instuctor position at The Tutoring Center?
The Tutoring Center seeks a Head Instructor to oversee our classrooms, ensure our teachers are following our proven system, and provide support for our students (K-12) and parents. If you're energetic, fun-loving, and have a passion for education, we invite you to apply. Our ideal candidate will have at least a Bachelor's degree and be available Monday-Friday, 2:30 PM-7:30 PM.
The responsibilities of a Head Instructor include:
- Supervising the classrooms and making sure that instructors follow The Tutoring Center's proven system.
- Analyze student progress and recommend relevant instructional strategies and techniques.
- They'll prepare student progress reports and communicate their results to parents.
- They'll discuss progress with teachers, assist in the hiring and development of new instructors, and maintain attendance records.
- The Head Instructor will be able to be the "Key Holder at the Center" and will help enroll new students.
In addition to having effective communication skills and proficiency with computers, we’re looking for someone who is outgoing, enthusiastic, and genuinely excited to teach children. The Head Instructor we’re looking for should also be able to think creatively, take initiative, and perform their duties with good cheer and a genuine love of learning.

Requirements include:

- Approx. 20-25 hours a week
- Monday- Friday, 2:30 PM- 7:30 PM
