What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part-Time Tutor (Fall 2025) position at The Tutoring Center?
Must be comfortable tutoring in Integrated Math 1 ,2, 3 and tutoring kids as young as a Kindergartner. There will also be a required in-person Math Assessment and phone-screen interview.
Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Tutor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with students of various ages and backgrounds, possessing strong communication skills, a passion for education, and making a difference in the child’s academic journey.
Duties
- Utilize learning technology to enhance tutoring sessions
- Communicate effectively with students to identify learning needs and goals
- Provide one-on-one tutoring sessions in various subjects
- Implement effective teaching strategies tailored to individual student needs
- Assist with classroom management, organization and upkeep
- Educate students ranging from early childhood to high school learners
Experience
- Proven experience in tutoring or teaching roles
- Strong background in working with students of diverse backgrounds and learning styles
- Strong background in math (Integrated Math 1, 2, 3 highly preferred)
- Experience in early childhood education, adult education, or special education is a plus
- Will train the right candidate.
Hours
- Monday to Thursday: 2:30 to 7:30pm
- Must reliably be able to commute to center location in Roseville, CA.
