Position Responsibilities
- Greet members and guests, anticipating their needs to provide professional service.
- Follow procedures for opening and closing the golf operation, including cart staging, driving range setup, and preparing golf carts.
- Start and direct play, assist with directing groups to the tee, and maintain an orderly fashion.
- Manage golf cars, ensuring cleanliness, staging, and maintenance.
- Clean and store golf clubs.
- Prepare the practice facility.
- Maintain a organized bag room, assisting members and guests with retrieving golf bags and storing them in assigned slots.
- Oversee daily operations of the practice driving range, short game area, and related range ball retrieval.
- Communicate with Grounds Dept and Professional Staff regarding unusual or special instructions.
- Assist with tournament setup, cart operations, and range operations as directed.
- Create a service-oriented environment, demonstrating hard work and communication with coworkers.
- Provide water bottles in on-course coolers.
- Maintain a professional image at all times.
Qualifications
- At least 6 months of experience in a similar capacity.
- Basic knowledge of typical golf course procedures.
- Valid driver's license required.
