The UA Insurance Agency, LLC is an independent insurance agency in Hoover, Alabama that specializes in auto, home, life, medical, and business insurance. We help clients find affordable insurance options to meet their needs.
We are looking for an Entry Level Insurance Sales & Marketing Representative. We will provide you with the training and support to obtain your state personal lines insurance license and life and health insurance license. In addition, you will receive paid training.
An ideal candidate is an individual looking to establish a career, not just a job. The candidate must possess a go-getter positive attitude, have a strong desire to succeed and exhibit strategic selling abilities. Success in this role will require you to build a strong local network and in-person relationship building within the community. Professional wardrobe and excellent communication skills are required.
Responsibilities:
- Build a strong referral network with multiple centers of influence to get referral business and build a strong sales pipeline.
- Generate leads from social media and get customer referrals.
- Generate marketing opportunities and launch new sales initiatives and programs
- Maintain database of current and prospective customers
- Direct one-on-one communication with clients
- Creatively prospect for potential opportunities
- Use consultative process to discover and provide customer solutions
- Work with the agent to establish and meet sales goals
- Maintain a strong work ethic with a total commitment to success every day
- Work in a team-oriented environment
- This is primarily a sales role but does involve a small amount of service and retention responsibilities
Requirements:
- Be self-motivated & coachable
- Have a strong work ethic
- Successful track record of meeting sales goals/quotas
- Experience generating leads and following a business process
- Have excellent communication skills - written, verbal and listening
- Comfortable public speaking with businesses and business owners
- Proven ability to build and nurture client relationships

Pay: $50,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
