Sales Representative

The UA Insurance Agency, LLC is an independent insurance agency in Hoover, Alabama that specializes in auto, home, life, business and personal benefits insurance. We help clients find the most affordable insurance options to meet their needs.

We are looking for an Insurance Sales Representative to market Auto, Home, and Life Insurance.

An ideal candidate is an individual looking to establish a career not just a job. The candidate must possess a go-getter positive attitude, have a strong desire to succeed and exhibit strategic selling abilities. Professional wardrobe and excellent communication skills are required.

Insurance License Training is Provided.

Responsibilities

• Build a strong referral network with multiple centers of influence to get referral business and build a strong sales pipeline.
• Generating leads from social media, customer referrals, and seeking out face to face opportunities.
• Calling, presenting, and selling Auto, Home, and Life Insurance Products and Services.
• Identify customer needs and market appropriate products and services.
• Establish customer relationships and follow up with customers, as needed.
• Work with the agent to establish and meet marketing goals.
• Maintain a strong work ethic with a total commitment to success every day.
• This is primarily a sales role but does involve a small amount of service and retention responsibilities.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of Sales experience required, preferably outbound sales or telemarketing
• Personal Lines license (Preferred) or must attain required licensure within 90 days of joining the company. If you are not licensed, we pay for your online pre-licensing course to get you ready for licensing.
• Successful track record of meeting sales goals/quotas preferred

Pay: $12.00 - $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 per week
