What are the responsibilities and job description for the Spa Attendant Female (FT) position at The Umstead Hotel & Spa?
**Hourly rate plus commissions**
- Welcome and greet each guest and issue robe, slippers, and a locker. Overview/orientation of facilities will be provided to first time visitors.
- Replenishes guest amenities, products, and towels when necessary.
- Maintains a presence in the spa facilities, acting as a liaison between service providers and guests.
- Maintains cleanliness and neatness of the spa and fitness center.
- Removes all used linen and organizes/stocks clean linen in the locker room and facilities area.
- Escorts guests to the proper lounge for their services. Check lounges and meditation courtyard frequently to respond to guest needs, ensuring a pleasant visit for each guest.
- Stays up-dated and becomes well-versed/trained in the latest developments pertinent to your department, the spa, and the hotel.
- Attends all departmental, spa and property meetings and training sessions.
- Must be able to push/pull 25 lbs.
- All other duties as assigned
- High school diploma or the equivalent required
- One year experience in the operation of the locker room and facilities area helpful
- First Aid and CPR training desired, but not necessary
