Direct Support Professional - seeking a dynamic and team-oriented individual to provide services for a young man with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Staff in this position will provide person centered support with independent living skills, accessing community resources and providing community integration activities for socialization, establishing meaningful relationships and community involvement. He enjoys long hikes, biking and swimming.
Full Time. 40 hours per week with 15 hours required on the weekend. Pay range is $22.00 - $25.00 per hour, dependent on the level of experience.
Minimum Qualifications –
High school diploma / GED
MAP certified
Direct 1 :1 experience working with individuals in a residential setting
Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
Acceptable driving record, valid driver’s license and access to a reliable automobile
Acceptable CORI and background fingerprinting check required.
