Seeking a dynamic, team-oriented individual to provide in-home Parent Education and case management for parents living with a functional limitation. The position also includes supervising parent-child visits, transporting child/children to and from the supervised visits, and facilitation of parent education groups as needed. There will be primary concern for health and safety of individuals and/or families being served, compliance with state and federal regulations, licensing and contracts to ensure quality program and service delivery, safety and security, respect for human rights, care coordination, and community relations.
This position is 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM or you can choose to have a 4 day work week of 10 hours per day.
Minimum Qualifications –
- High School Diploma/GED
- Associates Degree preferred in Social Work, Human Services or related discipline preferred
- Bilingual Spanish Speaking a plus
- experience working with families and individuals with special needs preferred
- Demonstrated relationship/interpersonal skills
- Ability to attend to multiple details within a multi-faceted environment and with diverse populations.
- Demonstrated knowledge of computers and computer software applications
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written
- Acceptable CORI, Fingerprinting background check, DPPC Abuser Registry check, Department of Children and Families Registry check, and driving record
- Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable automobile
