Responsibilities:
The primary focus of this position is teaching and preparing undergraduate students for professional careers. The selected candidates will be required to update, revise, and deliver lecture and laboratory courses in Electrical and Computer Engineering at the undergraduate level. All areas in electrical and computer engineering will be considered, but candidates with expertise or teaching experience in Circuits, Digital Logic Design, Power, Electronics, Embedded Systems, Control Systems and Signal Processing are especially encouraged to apply. Additional duties include updating and maintaining laboratory courses, maintaining technical currency, actively participating in University, college, department, and program committee work, assessment/accreditation responsibilities, student recruitment, and other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications: An earned Ph.D. in Electrical or Computer Engineering, or a closely related area. Candidates with a Master’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering with five (5) years or more of professional industry-based design experience will also be considered. Applicants must also demonstrate a passion for teaching and have robust training in the broad areas of electrical and computer engineering.
Preferred Qualifications: Candidates who have prior teaching experience that focuses on foundation topics in electrical and computer engineering, with a demonstrated record of teaching excellence.
