About the Position: The Department of Mathematical Sciences at the University of Alabama in Huntsville invites applications for a Lecturer position in mathematics, starting in August 2025. This is a non-tenure-track teaching position. Applicants must have completed a minimum of 18 graduate credits in mathematics or applied mathematics and hold at least an MS degree in mathematics. Preference will be given to applicants who can demonstrate evidence of excellence in teaching.
The Department of Mathematical Sciences offers academic programs leading to bachelor’s and master’s degrees in mathematics, as well as a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Applied Mathematics. With more than 20 full-time faculty members, the department covers a wide range of essential topics in applied mathematics. The successful candidate will be expected to teach undergraduate courses, including Calculus.
