Job Summary: The Athletic Support Assistant assists athletic staff with daily operations. Assists with recruiting program. Assists with administrative duties.
Additional Department Summary: Completes all video requests as assigned by department heads. Films and edits practice. Compiles and analyzes competition video. Assists with maintaining the video software platforms for multiple sports.
Required Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or GED and one (1) year of experience.
Additional Required Department Minimum Qualifications: Must be able to work a flexible schedule to include nights and weekends.
Skills and Knowledge: Technical knowledge of equipment and video operations. Ability to work effectively with people from a variety of backgrounds and experiences. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Strong time management and organizational skills. Self-directed in a multi-task environment. Ability to lift, handle, and maneuver the tools, materials and supplies of the job. Ability to learn and take directions from other video department staff.
Preferred Qualifications: Strong background in computers and any video technologies. Experience in video operations at the intercollegiate level.
