Normal Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm

Job Summary: The Grant and Contract Specialist III trains and assists Office of Sponsored Programs team members in the review of complex sponsored project proposals, budgets, and interpretation of regulations, policies, and other complex matters. Assists in the development and implementation of Sponsored Programs policies and procedures.
Additional Department Summary: This position will mentor Grant and Contract Specialists and assist with resolution of unique and complex matters that arise. This position must maintain a working knowledge of University policies and procedures, and various federal and state regulations governing sponsored research administration and independently interpret and apply them in a variety of situations.
Required Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and five (5) years of grant and/or contract administration experience; OR master's degree and three (3) years of grant and/or contract administration experience.
Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or higher and five (5) years of experience in the administration of grants and contracts. CRA is preferred.
