Pay Grade/Pay Range: Based on Qualifications
Department/Organization: 208401 - UMC - Clinical
Normal Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00AM - 4:45PM, limited after hours
Job Summary: The Physician Assistant provides clinical services and/or assists physicians within their specific scope of expertise. The Physician Assistant is responsible for independent decision making in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. This position may also be involved with assisting or instructing students as well as assisting in clinical research.
Additional Department Summary: This position will provide clinical services at varying departments and endeavors of University Medical Center.
Required Minimum Qualifications: Successful completion of the PANCE (Physician Assistant National Certifying Exam). Current/valid PA license in the state of Alabama. An Alabama controlled substance and a DEA license or qualified to apply for a DEA license.
Additional Required Department Minimum Qualifications: At least one year experience as a Physician's Assistant.
