Pay Grade/Pay Range: Minimum: $19.33 - Midpoint: $24.18 (Hourly N5)
Department/Organization: 504241 - Building Maintenance
Normal Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:30am to 4:30pm
Job Summary: The Tile and Carpet Layer I performs routine work in support of the construction of all types of tile surfaces. Installs and replaces carpet, linoleum, and other protective coverings and materials. Cuts and sets tile and carpet. Performs preventative maintenance. Drives from site to site.
Required Minimum Qualifications: Two (2) years of construction trades experience to include one (1) year in tile and carpet laying. Must have valid U.S. driver's license. Must be at least 19 years of age at time of hire and have an acceptable Motor Vehicle Report that is in compliance with University policies. Applicants under the age of 21 will have some driving restrictions.
Additional Required Department Minimum Qualifications: Final candidates must submit to and successfully pass a post-offer drug screen.
