Job Summary
This position uses specialized knowledge and breadth of expertise to plan, develop, design, and implement the strategic and tactical marketing plans for a department, program, product or business. Coordinates and evaluates the production of marketing communication and research programs.
Responsibilities
- Creates strategic digital marketing engagement plans that are both channel specific and across the prospect journey.
- Creates and executes comprehensive go-to-market plans that help generate engagement, raise awareness and drive leads to Booth’s student applicant pool.
- Drives innovation through new channel ideation and partner exploration to ensure we continually meet our audience where they are.
- Audits and develops strategies to continually optimize Chicago Booth’s website for greater online visibility and engagement.
- Tracks, measures, and reports the performance of all digital marketing campaigns/initiatives and channels, assessing against set goals and objectives and measuring ROI.
- Gleans insights from data on our audience, prospect journey and connects offline and online actions to leads/applicants.
- Leads efforts to develop and update enterprise-wide channel policies, guidelines and infrastructure that may also require the coordination with data governance.
- Collaborates with the marketing team and partners to provide analytics insights that inform content, design, and advertising decisions.
- Contributes to the development of dashboards and regular reporting to highlight trends, anomalies, and uncover opportunities for improvement.
- Oversees day-to-day digital engagement channel operations.
- Leads one or more of the following marketing functions: marketing communications and advertising, web blogs or other digital marketing, and market research. Reviews and updates marketing infrastructure which may include one or more database systems, the intranet, and external web sites.
- Manages relationships with external sales agencies.
- Performs other related work as needed.

Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications or other related course of study.
- A minimum of five years of digital marketing experience with at least three years specifically in channel marketing, digital or brand marketing.
- Background creating, implementing and measuring a comprehensive digital strategy in the non-profit/higher educational space.
- Team management experience and the ability to coordinate and drive cross-functional teams.
- Demonstrated experience using Adobe Analytics and Google Analytics.
- Slate experience.
- Advanced Excel skills with reporting, such as Dashboard, Pivot, Vlookup, filters, validations and other useful functions.
- Strong understanding of how content, design, architecture, and user experience can impact online visibility and working within a marketing automation platform and CRM.
- Outstanding verbal, written, and presentation skills, as well as organizational skills.
- Work independently with little supervision; possess a self-motivated disposition; identify opportunities for improvement, and recommend effective changes.
- Excellent strategic planning, analytical and creative problem-solving with the ability to execute tactically to drive outcome.
- Work on projects simultaneously and meet strict deadlines with frequent interruptions.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively and diplomatically with colleagues, as well as with students, faculty and organization contacts in a multitude of communication methods i.e., in person, email, phone.
- This position is currently expected to work a minimum three days per week in the office.
