What are the responsibilities and job description for the Certified RN Anesthetist/Sup position at The University of Iowa?
University of Iowa Health Care, Department of Anesthesia is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA). This role practices a collaborative supervision model with a high degree of autonomy across diverse settings, including a Level 1 trauma center, ambulatory surgery center, and pediatric trauma center. Duties include but are not limited to :
- Perform clinical anesthesia services.
- Attend continuing education conferences and seminars in order to maintain Recertification through the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists.
- Model and promote systems change across campus to promote professional conduct and behavior of the highest integrity, exhibiting utmost respect for all members of the University community; demonstrate a commitment to an inclusive environment and nurture a culture where every employee feels valued and is able to function at his / her best.
- Communicate expectations and provide support and resources that are in alignment with the vision and strategic planning of the University to foster creativity and innovation in the workplace.
- Create a culture of continuous learning through strategic planning, shared governance, innovative best practices, and the promotion of knowledge development.
