The new University of Iowa Health Care North Liberty Department of Radiology is seeking a Clerk III Receptionist to perform and coordinate clerical work such as examining and evaluating data according to established guidelines requiring knowledge of both assigned and related work areas.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide Radiology Reception duties.
- Provide excellent customer service to patients, their families and all the University of Iowa Health Care Clinics.
- Complete the EPIC Radiant check-in process
- Effectively communicate with patients, staff and clinics.
- Facilitate patient flow through the Radiology Imaging Center and communicate information to the technologists
- Assist and direct patients with health forms
- Perform general clerical duties
- Must have the ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks in a very busy ambulatory clinical setting

The new University of Iowa Health Care North Liberty Campus will open in the Spring of 2025. This 469,000 square foot facility will be home to UI Health Care’s nationally recognized Orthopedics service line, offering comprehensive, coordinated, and accessible care across the outpatient, inpatient and surgical venues. These state-of-the-art clinical facilities will also include a full-service community imaging center, laboratory services, physical therapy, retail pharmacy, and emergency department as well as an array of support services. Percent of Time: 100%
Schedule: Monday-Friday; 08:00am – 4:30pm
Availability to work hours between 6:30am-7:00pm and Saturdays 7:00am-3:30pm when needed to cover shifts. Work hours may be adjusted depending on departmental needs.

- Any combination of related clerical office experience/related undergraduate education, and/or post High School clerical training that is the equivalent to two years of full-time employment.
Special Qualifications:
- Medical Terminology.
- Public Contact/Customer Service.
Desired Qualifications:
- Six months clinical administrative work preferred.
- Demonstrate attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational skills desirable.
- Excellent communication skills and basic computer skills.
- EPIC experience preferred.
