What are the responsibilities and job description for the Research Support Staff (Temporary) position at The University of Iowa?
The Physical Activity and Cancer Survivorship (PACS) Lab (https://sites.google.com/view/jessica-gorzelitz/home) in Department of Health and Human Physiology is seeking temporary research support staff to work 30-35 hours/week for approximately six months starting as soon as possible in January 2025. The hourly rate will be between $15-20/hour based on education and experience.
The research support staff will primarily be responsible for managing day-to-day operations of an ongoing exercise trial in endometrial cancer survivors. Responsibilities will include implementation and management of recruitment/retention strategies, data collection and quality control, data entry and management, participating in study meetings, training and supervising new lab members, and additional lab related tasks as needed.
Requirement: Bachelor’s degree in health sciences or related field.
Desired qualifications include interacting with gynecologic cancer survivors and having health coaching experience.
