The University of Iowa Medical Center Downtown has a temporary position available for a Visiting Instructor to join the Department of Surgery.
Candidates must hold an MD, DO, or equivalent degree, have completed ACGME accredited training in all phases of General Surgery.
Candidates must possess board eligibility/certification from the American Board of Surgery.
Experience and ability to foster a welcoming and respectful workplace environment while recognizing personal differences and ability to work with a variety of individuals and groups in a constructive and respectful manner.
Teaching and participation in outreach activities are integral to the positions.
