Responsibilities
- The Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist assists physicians with diagnostic and interventional cardiac and peripheral procedures and monitors and records hemodynamics.
- Ensures equipment is functioning and troubleshoots equipment to provide quality diagnostic and therapeutic exams.
- Maintains an up-to-date knowledge of cardiovascular and peripheral technology and hemodynamics to assist the physicians effectively.
- Provides quality customer service to patients, families, and coworkers to create a professional and respectful environment.
- Participates in the training and mentoring of employees and students.
Qualifications
Job Requirements:
- Current Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or Registered Radiologic Technologist by the ARRT
- BLS Certification
Preferred Job Requirements:
- 1 year or more of experience working in the cath lab or interventional radiology
