Responsibilities
- This position involves the coordination of clinical management of the vascular patient across the entire continuum of care.
- Manages and coordinates the vascular clinic and assures thorough patient evaluation and education for vascular procedures.
- Serves as a liaison for the vascular program and drives performance and improvement initiatives.
- Acts as a clinical resource and a role model for all areas caring for vascular patients.
- Acts as a community liaison on behalf of the vascular program and the hospital to promote awareness and education on vascular procedures.
- Collaborates in the development and delivery of care for the University of Kansas Health System St. Francis Campus Market
Qualifications
Job Requirements:
Current RN license,
BLS required
3-5 years of clinical nursing experience, preferably in Cardiology, Critical Care, Cardiac Surgery or Emergency Department.
Proven ability to follow protocol specific care delivery
Preferred Job Requirements:
Public speaking experience
Interdisciplinary teamwork experience
