Responsibilities
- Ensure the accuracy of the treatment plan as developed by the physician and physics team.
- Perform and monitor Radiation Oncology treatments and simulations in compliance with established protocols.
- Coordinate delivery of radiation planning and radiation treatment delivery areas.
- Communicate with providers and other radiation team members to provide quality, efficient, and accurate patient care.
- Observe the clinical progress of the radiation oncology patient, using clinical decision-making skills to recognize and communicate any signs requiring further treatment planning intervention or procedures.
- Manage patient load and department needs effectively and efficiently.
Qualifications
Job Requirements:
- Completion of a two-year accredited Radiation Therapy program
- Registered by the American Registry or Radiologic Technology in Radiation Therapy
- ARRT certification or eligible from an accredited program
- BLS certification required prior to start
