- The University of Kansas Health System St. Francis Campus, a part of a rich legacy of compassionate care since 1909, now offers 378 licensed beds, a history of innovation, and strong community support.
- A Certified Physical Therapy Assistant will perform the delivery of prescribed care to assigned patients consistent with standards of practice defined by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and the physical therapy practice in the State of Kansas.
- Provides direction to clinical support staff.
- Promotes physical therapy services and professional development throughout the organization and community.
- Works under the administrative direction of the Rehab Services Supervisor in assigned clinical area.
Job Requirements:
- Graduation from an accredited PTA program
- Licensed or eligible for licensure as a physical therapist assistant
- Must obtain CPR/BLS certification within 90 days of hire date
- Experience with computer application including Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/Outlook)
Preferred Job Requirements:
- Previous experience in the medical setting or a rehabilitation setting
