- The University of Kansas Health System St. Francis Campus, a part of a rich legacy of compassionate care since 1909, now offers 378 licensed beds, a history of innovation, and strong community support.
- Assist/perform sleep studies according to established policies and procedures under the supervision of the department director and clinical supervisor.
- Perform all necessary exams and maintains documentation to ensure timely accurate results of procedures.
- Communicate effectively with patients about the procedure to be performed in order to obtain information and to offer reassurance.
- Clean, sterilize, and dispose of equipment to maintain a safe patient environment.
- Demonstrate ability to work in different age-specific patient populations while promoting the organizational patient safety program
Job Requirements
- Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPGST), or Respiratory Therapist (RT/RRT) with SDS certification within 1 year.
- Must obtain CPR/BLS prior to providing patient care
