Position OverviewWriting coaches will assist students enrolled in BUS 305 Business Writing course by providing feedback for course assignments.
Per the State of Kansas, student employees may hold concurrent appointments not to exceed maximum appointment and hours worked levels . However, concurrent student appointments must be of matching FLSA designation (exempt / salaried or non-exempt / hourly).
Job Description80% Meet with BUS 305 students to provide feedback on assignment drafts.
10% Attend required training meetings.
10% Create and manage schedule; communicate with students to facilitate appointments and send feedback.Required Qualifications
- Student must have excellent written communication skills.
- During the semester term of the appointment, the student hourly must be enrolled in no fewer than 6 credit hours. For summer periods the student hourly must :
have been enrolled in no less than 6 hours in the past spring semester or
