Extension Custodian Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to serve as an Extension Custodian at our University of Kentucky location.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain the overall cleanliness and organization of the Extension office, including but not limited to sweeping, mopping, and dusting.
- Clean restrooms and ensure adequate supply levels.
- Empty trash and recyclables on a regular basis.
- Dust and clean furniture and fixtures.
- Assist with other custodial tasks as needed.
- Perform general property management duties to ensure the smooth operation of the facility.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 1-2 years of experience in a custodial or maintenance role preferred.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
