Overall purpose of the role
On behalf of the Directorate of Estates and Facilities, manage all aspects of the contractual and financial side of the design and construction for diverse construction related projects allocated to the Minor Works Team that includes alteration, refurbishment, new build and planned maintenance schemes, including the design, planning, execution and close out according to strict deadlines ensuring that the projects remain financially viable while meeting the client’s requirements and quality standards in order to deliver projects within an established framework of “best value” for the University.
