What are the responsibilities and job description for the Research Associate in Health Psychology position at The University of Manchester?
We wish to appoint a Research Associate with expertise in Health Psychology to join the Manchester Centre for Health Psychology. The successful applicant will work closely with Professor Chris Armitage, as well as wider project teams.
The postholder will work on a project examining take-up of Pension Credit funded by the National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR). You will undertake highly relevant applied research and liaise closely with independent economic and social policy experts, plus policymakers and advisers in the Department of Health and Social Care.
A PhD in Health Psychology or related subject is essential. Candidates will need to demonstrate a track record of productivity, mixed methods research and advanced understanding of current behaviour change theories and practice.
The role allows a mix of office-based and homeworking from within the UK.
