Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field including but not limited to: student personnel/higher education administration, business administration, public relations/communications, counseling or related fields and two (2) years related experience.
Must possess a valid driver’s license. Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa at this time.
Special Conditions
The Department is especially interested in candidates who possess a Master’s degree and advanced experience in college recruiting, planning and managing recruitment programs and events, as well as that exhibit cultural competency, exceptional organization and writing skills, strong supervisory skills, and exemplary public speaking skills.
Work Schedule
Monday – Friday
8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
May work extended hours or alternative schedule as needed during peak season or special projects. Some professional development travel may be required.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to handle, or feel; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to walk. The employee is occasionally required to stand; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.
Additional Working Conditions
Job requires sitting as well as eye focus on computer screen for long periods of time. This position also requires extensive travel (includes evening and weekends) in-state and out-of-state. Presentations to large and small public audiences are essential for this position. This position also requires superior customer service skills. This position requires mastery of the Microsoft Office Suite.

Hires, trains, and manages a team of 15-25 student tour guides.

Responsible for replying timely and with accurate information to the inquiry and response emails through the recruitment email account.

Attends and assists with special events, campus recruitment programs, local community programs, college fairs, and New Student Orientation.
